To claim your award please send me a donation link with contact information for the NGO/non-profit organization of your choice you'd like your award to go to in your name. If more than one ambassador is named you must work together to submit a selected organization. Names and contact information must be received to me by return email by November 17, 2012.And, for those of you wishing to stay and evolve the program please let me know your interest. I see the following as some of our ongoing work and would like alumni’s to assist in new program development in support of:
· Participation in post 2015 MDG collaboration tools, services, resources
· Book of Greatness (pages, portals, and invitations to the network as movement)
Hanouf Al-Alawi has applied for participation at the She Entrepreneur 2013 workshop to assist with this effort and is interested in structuring an NGO for her contribution entitled “Windows into Being Human” which would be a template for use with the Book of Greatness and the development of our 2013 ambassador program
· Peace Wheel Network (youth ambassador program) through the production of a fundraising & celebration associated with community solutions using earth, water, air, fire, and mind in support of the world we want today.
Upcoming event: June 8, 2013: Oceania Day
Note: Emmanual Marfo, Hanouf Al-Alawi, Kehkashan Basu, Paul Langer, Rado Harintosoa Rakotosamimanana, Simran Vedvyas, and Suchith Abeyewickreme have expressed their intention to work with us to design the next Emerging Futures Network youth ambassador program . If your name is NOT mentioned and you want to be part of the leadership team to plan and deliver the outlined objectives as an ambassador program please send me your request.
Volunteers needed:
· Leader(s) to guide ambassador program. To work with Julie to set up invitation and activities for next round of ambassador recruitment and deliverables via email.
· EFYN Citizen Journal coordinator to work on the documentation of youth work from ambassador peace regions for and with an international magazine such as National Geographic. To work with local ambassadors, their country government and a local writer fluent in youth culture language and English to document stories about youth leaders, their family, culture, and work for use in citizen journalism publication.
· Ambassadors to work on Peace Wheel Network development and Oceania Day local-regional activities for World Ocean Day, June 8th.
