Hi everyone,

Find below information on an online training course being run by Dr Anna Oldershaw, Head of the Institute for Emotion-focused Therapy in England. Anna is highly experienced in working with anorexia and has developed an emotion-focused therapeutic model for working with this client group.

Best wishes,
Joan

An Emotion Focused Approach to working with anorexia.

We are running the 3-day foundations training in our emotion focused approach for working with anorexia (SPEAKS) again in November. I presented the findings from our recent trial in the NHS at the International Society for Emotion Focused Therapy conference in Portugal and we really loved welcoming many of our EFT colleagues onto the last training. Please do join us in November if you are interested!

Training Details:
Dates: 28th, 30th November and 1st December
Times: 9 - 4.30 each day GMT
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: £550

The therapy utilises the sequential emotion processing approach and integrates EFT to facilitate this change process. I've been told the training is useful when working with 'stuck' presentations more broadly (see also podcast episode on this https://www.emotionfocused.com/episodes/interview-anna).

You can book here and learn more about SPEAKS including some free resources here
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch  (an...@emotionspeaks.co.uk).

Dear EFT community,

I hope that it is ok to bring this query to this forum.

I previously worked with a client, in Ontario, Canada, who was dealing with eating disorder struggles. She is currently residing in France. Yesterday she got in touch as she is hoping to recommence treatment. Unfortunately, I am not licensed to work outside of Canada. I wondered if there was anyone, with some experience of working with ED populations and is licensed to work in France, who could see this person?

If so, would you be kind enough to share your contact information with me, which I can forward to the client. My direct contact is drsharo...@gmail.com

Again, I hope it is ok to reach out using this forum. I do not wish to unnecessarily populate everyone's email accounts.

With kind regards,

Sharon
