Ifthe game has a hackshield that prevents AutoHotkey from running at the same time you will know it. The game will likely first warn you then it will either kick you out or it will shut itself down. Sometimes it will tell you that it found a program running (autoHotkey) that it doesn't like. and will ask you to remove it and restart the game. This occurs because the anti-hack/anti-cheat software embedded in the game client is reading your process memory to see what's present there. You could try compiling your script before running it. But from the previous post I don't hold out much hope that compiling will help.
You can find out if the game has a hack shield in the client by running this little script...
Spoiler
All this routine does is count the A_Tickcount intervals since the script was launched and puts a tooltip on the screen that follows your mouse around. It doesn't try to interfere with the game in any way, But if the game considers AutoHotkey a hack or a cheat it will warn you that this script is present. Make sure, if you can, to run your game in windowed mode so you can see the tooltp, And use Alt_Esc to stop the script when you're done with it. This should tell if you can run AutoHotkey at the same time as your game. We'll have to work with the rest of your planned script after you see if you can run AutoHotkey at all.
It's just unbelievable that these people are still stubborn to not support and connect with such smart people like Livo to do something against these cheaters, they are playing for "N" years and still not banned they are sucking the entire energy for some people to even come back or gear up just because of this reason.
For some weird reasons they always refuse these things even tho these softwares are helping the entire community and their staff, to make our life easier. Livo's efforts are big enough and I don't think these type of answers from Galeas are actually considered strong in my oppinion, same old canned answers in a different day, no explanations, no nothing.
We didn't always refuse such things, aidpsmeter was valid for reports at some points, but is it true that it is very complicated.I can't myself even explain everything in the background but there are many factors, legal and technical.... If you check the topic you quoted I made several answers and developed a bit further on that topic
ok galeas but the people give to the company something that help the sistem and normaly some people from gameforge team had to make this program so ? where is the problem , at the end why we play this game if we cant get out of the people who hack ? is not normally what happen so i think gameforge have to make something at the end. if not your team will get even more when they see no acts because of that .
Be smart like this you can implement to have a ban and for the people who sell kinah in lfg is like you will have extra admins nonstop in the game wich will take care of people who hack .or is just one opinion but maybe some players are to much p2w and cant implement it , is just one opinion
This is a free game afterall, what are u guys afraid of? banning some bots & trash cheaters but no, u need to go thru hours on end of "legal ramifications". Like what's wrong with u? /insert drake meme template
At some point I was afraid he might have even choose to abandon it completely... but he's still here and delivering top quality out of his own personal time and u guys choose to ignore... In an usual company project this would have cost you thousands of EUR per month for such a project. Livo did it for free, out of passion for nyerk game and is now supplying you and the community with all the means necessary to avoid cheating players.
But no, GF is GF. They do nothing with tons on bots (just ONE, f*ing ONE gm can ban all bots- just need to logging in everyday for 1-2h on map and ban them systematically) and now, when they have the best moment to punish cheaters they will do nothing too. It's so disgusting for rest of the players. Just no words...
Dear AION community,
In case you've missed my recent stream where I and Galeas talked about Livo's MyAion Animation Detection feature and why Gameforge can not just support the program on day one, here's a link to the Highlight.
Well there are reasons that can be described as obvious (without watching the video with my 1k connection atm) such as reliability, possible alterations etc. For example in AiDPS Ranger buffs tended to provide you with false positives for a while - and there might have been people thinking the person's still cheating though that's not the case. Furthermore not everyone will be ever detected. They avoided AiDPS, they will avoid this one to some extend (doesn't include the obvious cases though).
However, 2 weeks for a first offense can be considered a joke. Especially since this doesn't only go for NoAnimation but as well for other cheats where people gained more by risking a 2-week-holiday than not doing it at all. This is a major problem if this didn't recently change.
Moreover I doubt that a bunch of people will ever take care of botters/RMT properly due to the time missing they would probably have to invest to successfully get rid of them. The botters you can see are just what you can see - banning them doesn't solve the problem, especially not in regards of commercial sellers. Catching private sellers is even more difficult.
This is where I would like to address a community issue: Of course you have the cheaters making up bad excuses for their behaviour ("just sometimes", "my ping", "we wouldn't have succeeded otherwise") though they will never be able to be proud of their achievements - but on the other hand there's the people who don't cheat but don't care either. "It's just pve", "who cares", "he's nice"... it's them who allow the cheaters to remain part of the community, but it's the community who can feel reponsible to get rid of them by not helping them, not grouping up with them etc. No matter how nice they are - cheaters are affecting everyone in a bad way and they should by no means be welcomed in my opinion.
Certainly it's important to verify first if someone is indeed a cheater (nothing's worse than the ppl screaming "cheater" every time they lose PvP and making up templars casting Glacial - that's plain junk).
Similar story with the guys actively stalking casual players during the anniversary event to outdps their mobs. That might not be prohibited according to the game rules, but it's bad behaviour and a disgrace in my opinion. Still - those people are respected again now though they only knew to enrich themselves by something like that.
Therefore we are responsible for the community to some extend. Not like we can influence them a lot or everything, but there have to be borders and GF won't be able to build a wall to solve these issues. What should be avoided is everything that may fall back to yourself though - such as name calling ingame or here on the forum. Just stop it.
And do not underestimate German or EU law concerning the usage of data. It's horrible. For sure it may be helpful in some way protecting our rights, but as a company you would hate it even if you don't plan on selling addresses.
so the thing is in my mind what about people hear this kind of action coming and stop playing with hacking tools and they hear this info from the people that you share this program? what if those people you share this program to collect data some how tip people and that is why only 100-+ people detected (and not AT).. im sure there are a lot of people using this kind of tools because since 2 days i realize ppl we match on runat and dred premade VS premade they become to deal low damage so do you have more info to share or you are holding it Livo or this is all info you got?
