My name is Craig Clinton and I am a Deputy Chief with Snohomish County Fire District 7 in Washington State. Currently I am completing my fourth year as a student in the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. Part of the requirements of the program is to write a research papers on a specific leadership issue within my department. I am writing my research paper to identify the elements of an effective Battalion Chief Officer Development Program for Snohomish County Fire District 7.
