bail-out

I wanted to let everybody know that I withdrew from the EFOP.  My son’s cancer has returned and life has otherwise gotten very complicated for me.  Zachary is expected to be accepted into a study at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.  He is stable right now due to receiving a weekly maintenance dose of chemo, but there has been little progress of eliminating the disease.  But then this cancer is so aggressive that freezing the progress is better than 80% of most patients. The bottom line is that I just don’t have the time or motivation to finish my ARP, much less the program.  Chuck was gracious and offered to help me get back in if I so choose.

My heart and prayers go out to your son and family. My wife's parents both were taken because of cancer and her sister has had two successful battles so far with breast cancer and lung cancer. I have some what of an idea of how life becomes turned around and upside down.
