It is with deep regret that I inform all of my fellow EFO Probies of the travesty that occurred this week regarding the Executive Fire Officer Program, the flagship of the National Fire Academy and the designation of today's fire service leaders.

As a result of this obvious oversight, Program Manager Chuck Burkell has made it clear to all EFO designees that such an error is not acceptable and puts a cloud over the program that will remain in place until an acceptable outcome removes this blight from the program.

What happened you may wonder that has drawn national attention and such outrage from fire service leaders for
Around the nation? Chief Neal Marberry from East Valley Alabama received official notification this week that he has successfully completed the program requirements and is now an EFO designee!!!

How does that make you feel; Chief Neal Marberry, EFO. Me personally, I could not be prouder of my huckleberry friend from Alabama.

If you do not know, this email is all a joke except that Neal really finished, he is an EFO!!!

Congrats buddy!!! Smile because you know I got you.

Congratulations to Chief Neal and all of the rest of you that have completed
the program.

I had a series of knee surgeries that set me back a bit but now I am
requesting your help on my final survey.

My ARP involves developing a defendable equipment fee schedule for the
Southwest Colorado Hazardous Materials Response Team. We currently use the
FEMA Equipment Fee Schedule.

The link to my survey is:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VL8RGQW

The last question asks for examples of other equipment fee schedules. If
you or your state does have an equipment fee schedule and would be willing
to share the information, please forward it to my email address listed
below.

Thanks in advance for any help you are willing to provide.

Best Regards,
