Dear colleagues,
it is my pleasure to announce the 6th International Workshop on eHealth in Emerging Economies (IWEEE).
IWEEE focuses on the human factor and raising awareness about the current situation of societies. IWEEE will discuss mechanisms that help health professionals, institutions and NGOs to improve people's quality of life by applying free software.
Like in previous years EFMI LIFOSS WG supports this event. Networking and collaboration is at the heart of IWEEE. The European FLOSS community has a lot to contribute in this context. If you are interested in actively engaging in working on solutions for health care provision on the basis of free software I highly recommend this event.
(BTW, Las Palmas is a very nice place to go in January from a European perspective ;-)).
