to efibootguard-dev
Hi,
this release comes with some new features by adding a couple of SIMATIC
device IDs to an existing driver. Otherwise, this is a bug-fix release.
One of those bugs was sleeping since day #1 in the (public) code, now
surfacing as ESXi 8 guest in form of sporadic warm-boot failures when
using a SATA virtual disk. We are not aware of other cases so far, but
those may exists or show up with older EFI Boot Guard deployments after
UEFI updates.
You furthermore want this version when you are updating gnu-efi or your
toolchain to latest releases.
Thanks to all contributors (including bug reporters)!
