Yes, very close: This UKI image does indeed replace the kernel, but it
also replaces the command line args EBG can pass to it. Your --args will
be ignored by the UKI. Instead, if you set command line args while
creating the UKI, those will be used, otherwise none.
The concept is basically the same as in
https://uapi-group.org/specifications/specs/unified_kernel_image/ (and
the remaining delta is currently being resolved in systemd and there).
