Well, incompetent government of PPP have done something amazing,
its the cheapest step taken by any government to make money. Applying
20 paisa tax to (20,000 sms / 149 PKR) by Zong and (5,000 SMS / 80 PKR
) by telenor packages is very very ridicolous, and Mr shaukat tareen is
the real genious.
I mean, a sms which was almost free but now, 20 paisa on each sms has been added as tax, That means, now people will not send sms to each other, and during birthdays , or eid, there would be no crazy fun loving sms around. And second, the poors who totally relied on SMS because it was cheapest , have some thing to get worried about.
I mean, applying 20 paisa tax to 2-paisa product, is quiet cheap move by so called PPP government. We have a serious request to all telecom companies, please don’t accept this budget, it never happened in the world, what kind of people are you if you apply tax on something which is almost nothing ? This has never been done in the world, so please don’t do this cheap thing just to make some extra money for your pockets.
