out of memory issue(GTX660Ti 2GB RAM, 8GB System RAM)

Hello there. My environment is Win7 Ultimate x64，GTX660Ti with 2GB RAM and 8GB System RAM，I ran build_and_benchmark_1gb.cmd and build_and_benchmark_2gb.cmd，both fire a message box(even more) shows that "out of memory" or "cuEventCreate() failed out of memory" and something like this。I believe my hardware meets the minimal requirement，is it normal？Or I missed something important? Thanks a lot，any reply is appreciated。
