I don't think any changes need to be made to the EFES code, as (if I understand correctly), the
.gitmodules in the EFES repo points directly to the "latest" branch of the EpiDoc Reference Stylesheets, which is the branch into which the most recent tagged release (as of today, 9.8) is copied.
For clarity, though: this is a question that is the responsibility of the EpiDoc release process. The "EFES Administrators" are EpiDoc, and any changes to the EFES repo to bring it into line with latest EpiDoc developments is part of the task of making an EpiDoc
release. As I say, I don't think there is anything to do given the Git setup, but that's for the release process to confirm, not to just say "if there's anything to be done, it's someone else's problem." 🙂
