EFBC-Feline Center: December 2011 Update

Thanks for your support of EFBC's Feline Conservation Center! The
winter newsletter should be out in a few weeks for our members. If you
are not yet a member, it's to your advantage to sign up now as some of

We are still working on several facility improvement projects. New
safety railing in the public exhibit area is nearly complete, with
just the Project Tiger area and a few gates left to do. Speaking of
Project Tiger, once the walkway is done visitors can go check it out
up close. We have a few things left to finish before tigers move in,
but we are temporarily housing 3 young Amur leopard cubs in there
before they move on to the San Diego Zoo. Check out this video of them

There are more new arrivals as well, two male Sand Cats came in from
the Cincinnati Zoo in November. They are adapting well to their new
home, but they are not in the public display area

Mark your calendars for 2012 event dates! Twilight Tours will be April
7, June 23, and September 15. Feline Follies will be August 18
(auction items and sponsors accepted year-round). Kids Day is moving a
month earlier, to October 20.
