Hi :

I know its been a looooooong time since we last chatted up ... LOTs of updates to share , some good some bad , some absolutely crazy .. as lot of my email rattlings in past had produced so much ruckus , valli has put a 'gag' order one me .... but ha , you cant keep a  (mad) bull-dog in a leash for long ... so grrrrrrrrrrowl....

What is efarm/efarmdirect's vision or focus or oppurtunity ?

Lot of people have asked this , our clients, partners, investors, press ... To be frank, It has been vague or fuzzy - even to me !... pls watch this video shot at TEDx where I have managed to give a  detailed but simple walkthru of the model , growth, vision  with easy analogies (ofcourse in my true whacky style .) ..

eFarmdirect Portal Demo Login : A farmers marketing platform connecting farmers to buyers, input providers and (later labour & transport). We are constantly adding, upgrading the site over next few days , so youll see the work in progress.Any feedback would be helpful.

Agri Entrepreneurship Training

We conduct agri business training for entrepreneurs and cover all aspects hands on in a one-weekend session. Attended by people all over India now , various backgrounds.  We are seeing more professionals, with no prior agri experience being more keen to start. Classroom + Field visits -. It is a paid training ( fees rs 3500) and part of growth strategy (franchises, partners, etc are to be selected from these sessions ) . If you come across any people/forums on entrepreneurship , do pass the ref that we also conduct training ...

Student Internship :

We now have students coming from across the world, in various streams working on interesting projects .. Theough there is no stipend, they do  get ldirect customer project exposure, startup compnay exposure, working with industry experts, & assistancein therr academics/work. They can also become a 'campus rep' for efarmdirect, ad help registr local people as part time 'data registrars' and earn pocket money.
