Plenary meeting 1pm Wed UNU-MERIT boardroom

Dear all,
It would be great to have both a plenary and individual meetings this Wednesday the 5th of December 1-2 pm seeing as we have our big launch meetings coming up later this week.
Regarding the plenary,
From 1 to 1.30pm, someone from our corporate sponsor company Educational Testing Service, Maria-Victoria Calabrese, who is Director for Governemental and Academic Affairs, would like to visit us to explain their interest in the work we’re doing. She would also like to give you more information about her company : ETS is a very big US corporation specialized in educational services – they are subcontracted to do the PIAAC study for the OECD for example and fund various social and public research programs, i.e. this one, some actions for education in South Africa etc. ETS is growing in Europe so could be a professional development opportunity?
From 130 – 2pm we can go over the plans for Friday’s launch sessions.
Will also email some of you individually and hope that you have time during the day to plan activities,
