Dear Eestecers,
After a long silent period, LC Istanbul is proud to announce the upcoming workshop ¨.COM(point of Creativity, Originality and Magnificience) which will be held on 3th- 10th of March in Istanbul.
After writing has been invented in mesopotamia by sumerians, Internet has become the most important invention which will perhaps change the fate of world as writing has done. At that time those who had knowledge to use writing held much more power in society compared to others. Now everyone has knowledge about writing, all of us know how to write, don’t we? What about the Internet which stands at same position once writing had stood? Now those who know of language of Internet will have the same advantages like those who would have knowledge of writing. So we are ready to help you through this way. During the theoretical and practical lectures you’ll learn the twin brothers HTML and CSS(the things that make internet prettier) and also PHP by expert academicians and programmers. Of course we could not do it without the designing part of web programming.
Wait! We haven’t finished yet. Do you think that we’ve forgotten the best part of our event? We have to confess; making extraordinary parties, knocking around and making people crazy are much easier for us when it is compared to the academic part : )) You should know that one week is not enough to see all beauties of Istanbul which is a metropolitan with 17 million population ( in fact no one knows how many people live in Istanbul :D ) ; however, you ‘ll have unforgettable seven days without being bored. Istanbul is full of beauties, cultural activities, historical places, night life and, of course crazy people :-) This city had once been the capital of the three biggest empires of the history. (Roman, Byzantium and Ottoman). So just guess how old the city is and how much diversity and richness it includes. We are going to take you to Topkapi and Dolmabahce Palaces where the Ottoman Sultans used to reside, the Hagia Sophia Museum which was constructed in 6th century, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and some other surprising places. Participants will also have the chance of watching both Asian and European continents from the middle of Bosphorus. And the awesome parties will be held on Istiklal Avenue which is the most crowded and crazy street you can ever see. Can you imagine that three millions people walk on it just in one day?
