[Etkinlik] Shrink the World! - LC Ankara

Merhaba arkadaşlar,

LC Ankara sizleri "Shrink the World" etkinliğine çağırıyor. 17 - 23 Şubat tarihlerinde gerçekleştirilecek etkinliğe 15 katılımcı kabul edilecek. 

Etkinliğin konusu nanoteknoloji olarak belirlenmiş. Nanoteknoloji ile ilgili şu video'yu izleyerek günümüzde nanoteknolojinin geldiği nokta hakkında fikir sahibi olabilirsiniz. 

Bu etkinlikte katılımcılar, akıllı materyaller, nano bio-sensörler ve nano elektro-mekanik sistemleri inceleyerek nanoteknoloji dünyasını keşfetme şansı bulacaklar. Eğitimler yalnızca derslerden ibaret olmayıp, saha gezilerini ve uzmanlarla sohbetleri de içerecek. 

Elbette eğitimlerin yanı sıra geleneksel EESTEC aktiviteleri olan şehir gezisi, 'multicultural night' ve partiler de katılımcıları bekliyor olacak.

After a long journey, you just arrived in Ankara. You try to call one of the organizers, but you noticed that battery is dead. Thanks to nanotechnology, you used extra efficient solar cells to charge your phone. Rushing for the party, you noticed that you dont have the most important protection tool with you :) No no, I am talking about super hydrophobic spray. With its magical hydrophobic material property, if someone spills a beer or even vomits on your dress, it is no big deal - it will clean itself... Does it sound like Science-Fiction? The recent advancements in nanotechnology made it real: See the video!

 

Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to invite you to this small (10^-9 small) and amazing nanotechnology world. In this workshop, you will experience the world of nanotechnology including smart materials, nano bio-sensors and nano electro-mechanical systems not only by lectures but also field trips and tech talks. 

Of course this is not all! We all know that an event without the EESTEC traditions is unthinkable. Sightseeing, international night and parties are waiting for you! You will also experience the Turkish life; delicious Turkish cuisine, nargile (waterpipe), rakı, traditional Turkish night and many more... ;)  To sum up, LC Ankara is ready to host you once again!

We are also working really hard to arrange a country house in a mountain near Ankara, where you can enjoy the beautiful scene, and even ski. But we don't promise this, yet!
