updates from the Steering Committee

Dear EENPS members,

This is an update from your Steering Committee. We hope your 2026 is off to a good start.

The deadline for submissions to our conference in Bucharest is coming up in just about two weeks (February 15th): https://eenps2026.sciencesconf.org/?lang=en

Please consider sending an abstract for a contributed paper or assembling a symposium. We are working hard to ensure a lively and comfortable event that builds connections. The conference will be taking place at the University of Bucharest with one of the keynote lectures, plus a reception, at the New Europe College. We are open to suggestions for special interest group meetings and other side events.

In addition to preparing for the conference, we are continuing our regular activities such as publicising your writings and connecting you to mentors in your field.  Do remember to send us your publication news and let your colleagues and students know that we can help them.

Finally we are also looking for ways to reflect the lived experience of philosophers of science in the region through a new blog: https://eenps.weebly.com/blog If you want your story represented, please write us an email and we'll discuss the format of your post.

As ever we are open to your suggestions for activities and grateful for your participation and support.
