EENPS statute amendment. Please vote!

Dear EENPS members,

You have each received an individual email with a link to the online voting platform Balotilo. Many thanks to Joanna Malinowska for setting it up!

Please excercise your right to vote. The proposed amendment is an outcome of several years of discussions in the Steering Committee and the General Assembly. In short it makes it possible for our network to make decisions without the quorum originally specified by our statute. That statute required 20% of members present. Since the network grew it no longer became practical. So we worked hard to reformulate the requirements to preserve both the democratic governance of our network and the practicality. We also took the opportunity to specify the possibility of virtual meetings and electronic voting. You can read the precise wording in the attached minutes of a special general meeting which finalised the formulation. The last general assembly in Krakow instructed the committee to put these amendments to a vote via an electronic platform, which is what we are doing now. Many thanks to those members who reached out with proposals for how to best phrase the amendments and to avoid ambiguity and repetition, especially to our former coordinator Magdalena Malecka.

As we are still operating under the old rules, we need a quorum of 20%. So please do vote!
