Dear All

With the semester reaching its end, it is time to wrap up your projects as soon as possible. I hope you all have made enough progress to show on the demo. As of now, we have decided to have the project demo on April 30. This date is subject to change only if the majority disapprove and provide a better suited date. The demos will take around 20 minutes where the idea will be to evaluate  each member's contribution in the group and it is quite likely that different members in a group might get different grades, if the performance is not satisfactory. Some things to keep in mind for the demo:

1. Please set up your simulation before coming for the demo: By set up, I mean that you should already have your waf shell running and all we want to see is you running the script.

2. Be prepared to show the control flow: You are expected to show the gdb trace and in case of any source code modifications, we would like to see how those modifications affect the simulation

3. The projects will not be evaluated solely on the results obtained as some are difficult to achieve than others.

4. Finally, please enter your preferred time slot of 20 minutes between 10 am to 5.30 pm in the EEL 6591 project groups spreadsheet. We will be taking a break between 12 pm and 1.30 pm for lunch. If you have not updated the sheet with your group details, please do so in order for us to schedule the demos ASAP.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Gokul S Bhat

Obul and I will be responsible for evaluating the demos and we will be doing that in parallel sessions. Hence, not more than 2 groups can request for the same time slot. Also, a reminder, please choose the time slots in a manner shown in the example on the spreadsheet for uniformity!

Thanks,
Gokul
