Asus published the source code for the Asus 1005HA models on
10/10/2009 at this location :

However, according to http://www.h-online.com/open/news/item/ASUS-publishes-Eee-PC-Linux-source-code-Update-826896.html
there are (still) no build scripts available so actually compiling it
yourself is absolutely non trivial.
