The World Bank, in collaboration with several African Countries, including Kenya, has a Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (RSIF), which mainly supports the training of doctoral students. 

The 2017 Call for Applications has been made and will close on 24th July 2017. Kindly encourage your faculty to apply and share the link to the RSIF website with them - https://www.rsif-paset.org/ .
