The South Dakota Discovery Center is seeking reviewers of proposals for small environmental education projects to be funded by an EPA Region 8 mini-grant fund. As a reviewer, you will review up to 5 proposals. Reviewers must be able to commit to a short training (format TBD, online or conference call)to become familiar with the scoring rubric in addition to being able to commit to reviewing the proposals.
These proposals will be in response to a call sent out in North Dakota. The grant funding is provided to a collaborative network of environmental education providers in EPA Region 8. South Dakota will have a similar call for proposals which will be evaluated by North Dakota. You may submit a proposal in South Dakota and serve as a reviewer of North Dakota proposals.
By submitting your name and information as a reviewer, you certify that you are
- able and willing to dedicate the time required to participate in the training;
- read and score up to 5 proposals;
- respond to relevant emails in a timely manner.

I will help out if you need more reviewers. Had a great kayak ride down big Sioux from Brandon to Klondike Monday. Would be a great 2 day trip to check water quality. Cows have access and only found 1 good public access. Only 4 fishing sites by locals spotted. Was a very quiet ride compared to Missouri river. Take care.
