Hi Captains,

I just received word from the folks at Intercollegiate Athletics that they have some softball camps starting on Tuesday 6/25 and Tuesday 7/16. Since they need time to prep the field (paint lines, drag the field, etc.) they have asked us to consider rescheduling the games those weeks (either starting earlier on some other Monday, or finding a Saturday or Sunday to play on those weeks).

I'm reluctant to acquiesce since we've had so many other hiccups already, and we weren't warned about this ahead of time. Still, their "request" might end up being more of a demand and we will be left with little choice. I'm thinking that this may be a good opportunity for us to renegotiate some of our terms for this summer—a discounted rate or getting the field free on weeks where we had difficulties.

I'll handle all of that, but I wanted to notify you all in advance that more changes might be coming. If you have preferences on when games be rescheduled let me know. Assuming we can't move to Tuesdays in those weeks, my gut feeling is that games rescheduled on Sundays would be best, otherwise more Monday games will make those nights really long.

Again, my apologies for all of these troubles.

-Mitch

Hi all,

After talking to IA, they have decided to find another arrangement and we won't need to adjust our schedule. I'll update you if that changes, but otherwise, you can disregard this morning's email.

Best,
Mitch
