Hello,

I have installed eea.daviz 6.1 on Plone 4.2.1.  I have installed the Google API key and no longer get the API key popup.
I can upload data and display it in the tabular view, however the Google Charts section is empty and has no charts available to add.
Any ideas?

Thanks
David

Hi David,

If you're using eea.googlecharts 6.1 please upgrade to 6.2. Then, do you get any JS error within firebug/chrome debugger?

Did you install Daviz 6.1 on a fresh Plone Site, or using an existing one (if so, please run the upgrades steps available within Site Setup > Add-ons in this order: bottom-up http://eea.github.com/_images/eea.daviz.dependencies.svg, eea.daviz being the last one)?

Cheers,
Alin

Thanks for your reply.   I do have eea.googlecharts 6.2.  It is not a fresh Plone site, although it is the first time I have installed any version of eea.daviz.

I went through the quickinstaller and reinstalled the following in this order:

collective.js.jqueryui 1.9.2.0
eea.jquery 6.1
eea.app.visualization 6.1
eea.googlecharts 6.2
eea.daviz 6.1

There was no entry for eea.converter but it seems to be installed.  It does give a warning that pdftk is not installed.

When I edit visualizations - daviz-edit.html - I get an error in FF and Chrome:
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href^=http://www.doc.ks.gov]
in eea.jquery.js

Thanks for your help
David

Hmm, it seems you have jQuery 1.7. You'll have to either use the latest code for daviz: http://github.com/collective/eea.daviz (see demo buildout http://github.com/collective/eea.daviz), or to wait for the next release :)

You can also try to downgrade eea.jquery to version 6.0

I tried eea.jquery 6.0, 6.1 and 6.2, with no effect.

I looked through some of the recent changes on github and found you are using
collective.js.jqueryui = 1.8.16.9.
I downgraded to this version and daviz seems to work without breaking anything else.

Thanks
David
