Subject: Openings for Paid Internships in IBM EDA, Bangalore


Dear Professor

IBM Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Bangalore is looking for students
to join us as "paid interns" for 2010. Candidates will have to take a
written test, which will be followed by a technical interview.
Students who meet all criteria can join us in the development of EDA
Algorithms (in all major areas), Tools and Flows as soon as possible. The
internship duration can vary from 3 months - 6 months (flexible).
I would appreciate it if you can encourage your students to send in their
resumes to aruj...@in.ibm.com. On successful completion of internship,
candidates may/may not be offered permanent job roles in IBM Systems and
Technology Laboratory.

Criteria
  Last year Ph.D / MTech / Dual Degree students
  Consistent academic record. CGPA > 8.0
  Good programming skills [C++/C] and/or good knowledge of VLSI design.
  Knowledge of Data Structures and prior exposure to EDA development will
  be a definite plus.
  Should be willing to come to IBM Bangalore for a period of 3-6 months.
