A course on Finnish National Cinema 13.-17.9.2004 University of Tartu,
Estonia
The aim of the course is to provide a historical and narratological outline
concerning the development of Finnish National Cinema from the silent period
on to the present day situation. Special cases, like the
Kaurismäki-phenomenon, are highlighted during the course.
The course consists of lectures, cinematic extracts and screenings.
