You can now customize colors and use your own logo for your OpenEdX instance. If you log into https://console.opencraft.com, you will see new theming related fields on the registration form.
There are four color fields that allow you to customize these four colors:
Main color: This is the most prominent color in the theme. It is used for button backgrounds among other things.
Link color: Color used for links.
Header background color: Used as the background color for the header.
Footer background color: Used as the background color for the footer.
Under the color fields, you will see two file upload fields:
Logo: The logo displayed in the top left corner of the page, visible throughout the LMS.
Favicon: The icon used in the browser tab/toolbar.
After you submit the form with your desired values, we will deploy the changes for you. Note that for now we have included a manual validation step, so the changes can take 24-48h during business hours to be applied.
Please note that this is only the beginning! We will be adding more features in the future - let us know if anything is missing, and make sure to vote in the list of features requests.
Also note that if the self-hosting offer isn’t enough for your needs, you can ask us about the institution/enterprise offering, and get additional customizations, extended theming, custom developments, guaranteed availability and services such as Analytics/Insights or e-commerce.
