Hi.

I installed and configure the LTI pro in my zoom account to integrate with my open edX platform.
Next, I added the LTI passport, based on the LTI credential provided by zoom, into 'Advanced Settings-> LTI Passports' by following the instruction.

And I input LTI ID with same name entered in the LTI Passports, LTI URL ( https://applications.zoom.us/lti/rich).

But I can see the zoom page with "Upcoming Meetings" and "Previous Meetings" tab only. is this correct? I cannot use any zoom function.

If there is anybody who successfully integrated edX with zoom(zoom.us) for web conferencing using LTI, please guide me.

Thank you

Hi there,

If your using edX and looking for an open source solution -- one that gives you the ability to setup your own server -- check out BigBlueButton.

Nate Anune and myself did a presentation at the 2018 OpenedX conference on integrating BigBlueButton with edX, see

BigBlueButton: Integrating real-time collaboration for increased engagement

BigBlueButton is an open source web conferencing system for online learning.   We support LTI integration as well, see

Give it a try and don't hesitate to post if you encounter any problems.

Hi!

I'm currently trying the BigBlueButton's LTI integration with a Hawthorn version. It works really well but I still need to solve some issues (username or email instead of "Attendee" or "moderator", not join to room if there is no moderator inside, etc)

I'll keep working on this integration.

Hi Fred,

Thank you for your response. I am also considering to test BBB. What I want to do is comparing both. but there is not much information about edX and zoom integration.
