Hello everyone =)

I use a native instance of open edx. And I am looking for using Scorm content without commercial software dependancy.

I found appsembler's work but it depend on SSLA player by JCA Solutions.

Any idea of how to remove the dependancy ?

best regards

Hello Kalulu,

Yes, the appsembler fork does have this dependency.  At time of development we were looking for a very robust and complete solution for handling LMS<>SCORM package communication, handling edge cases, etc.

Work has continued by Raccoon Gang on their version, which does not have the dependency.  I'm not current with the modifications they have made to it in the last 2 years or so, but it is worth a try and might be good for your needs.  https://github.com/raccoongang/edx_xblock_scorm

Im also using Racoon Gang SCORM.

Hi there.

if you have any requests - please let us know :) Not sure when, but we are up to extending the scorm_xblock feature-set.
