Custom Stanford theme installing

hello everyone, i have got some problems with enabling custom Stanford theme. When i assemble lms assets everything left unchanged except header logo and footer text "About and etc."

Is there a proven way to install templates on open edx?

i want to change mainpage background which placed behind wrapper textbox "Welcome to the OpenEdX..."

Please, could you help me?

Im using bitnami open edx image.
