How to check your open-edx version

how do you know if you have the devstack, fullstack installed?

Hi,
Check the current processes running on the system if the lms and cms are running on Django server, then probably it is devstack.
go to folder /edx/app/edxapp/edx-platform
 git branch. - -the version of edx will be known.

I got "hawthorn.master", so that means devstack. 

Is it possible to move to full stack from this? I don't have much experience to install from scratch.

Hi Marce,

Different kind of installation options are mentioned below:

Whether devstack,fullstack or bitnami installation is independent of the release.
