Verified Course vs Professional Education

I´d like to understand what the difference is between a verified course and professional education, in particular with regards to their e-commerce functionalities.

The marketing difference is simply branding and audience. Professional Education (PE) is intended for working professionals looking to learn more focused topics. Verified courses cover a broader range of topics.

From the standpoint of the E-Commerce Service (Otto), the only difference between the two course seat types (besides the name) is the fact that identity verification may be optional for professional education courses. We have intentionally made Otto agnostic regarding course seat differences. Otto is simply a means to pay for the product (course). How that product is used by the end user is the purview of LMS.
