i am not able to change edx apearance

Hi everybody i a new in edx i stall oepen edx ficus.master on ubuntu 16.04 a native installation everythings is ok but i try to change the langue into french et also change the appearance but it failed
i follow this tuto find on the net https://github.com/dehamzah/starter-theme-openedx
i have this message i joint the sceenshot
also i would like to know edxapp user's password

Read the error messages.

Fix the permissions of your theme directory.
