New User Registration Email Not Received

I'm new to edX, created a new course and trying to add another "user." They created an account, tried to "register" with the alleged email trigger that should be sent although it never landed into his inbox. Checked SPAM filter, refreshed, checked an hour later, nothing. Tried resetting the password, still nothing.

How can I get my colleague registered if he's not getting the verification email?

You can activate it manually from (yourwebsite.xyz/admin/auth/user/) choose your student, check (Active under permissions) and save.

Did you configure email settings correctly ?

Hi friend,
In my case also registration email is not getting sent.I have just set up SMTP but nothing else. How to configure email settings correctly
