Forum not accessible by students

Dear All,

I am facing the following issue:

I am running Dogwood EDX and when I am creating a course as instructor, the students cannot access the forum (they can access the course and wiki though).

The student gets a 'There has been a 500 error on the xxx servers'.

The console shows: 'GET http://xxx/discussion/forum  [HTTP/1.1 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR]'.

As an instructor, I can access the forum with no problem.

Is there something I should do in order to allow students access the forum with no problem?

Hello Kostas,

Do you check the log file of LMS? Normally is in this path "/edx/var/log/lms/edx.log".
