put a picture in edx platform

Hello all

i want to put a picture on my lms home page by adding the picture in /lms/static/images but when i call the picture in index.html like <img src="${static.url('images/university/Abdou_Moumouni.png')}" /> , nothing doesn't on my home pageappear after restarting the lms.
Please can somebody help me??

Hello Appolinaire,

Are you trying to replace the image on fullstack installation? Then you need to collect static assets (by running sudo /edx/bin/edxapp-update-assets-lms).

Is it the same command (for collect static assets) for the bitnami open edx? because i'm using edx bitnami
