Hi all,
is there a way to use multiple threads in the modified bwa version implemented in ribopicker?

Thanks a lot,

Ernesto

Hi Ernesto,

The Perl script currently does not support multi-threading as that was not necessary for our cluster architecture where we run lots of instances in parallel on independent cores. However, adding the feature should be straight-forward with a new input parameter specifying the thread count and adding that to the BWA call. If you make any modifications, I will be happy to include them in the release version.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,

I have add a parameter of t to specify the num_threads used in bwa running.
