The Musician's Guide to Fundamentals (Second Edition) (The Musician's Guide Series) PDF File

In the second edition of The Musician's Guide to Fundamentals, Robert Cagle has rewritten and expanded on many topics that had been previously covered in the first edition. This second edition covers even more ground, making this book a must have for guitarists of all levels. Most of what has been added is material that is helpful to novices as well as advanced guitar players. However, some of the content has been added to make the book more useful to intermediate guitar players. The book contains over fifty pages of new content, including twenty-one original keys that have been purposely left out of the first book, twelve new tabs, and eleven thoroughly researched and thought-out theory exercises that are not seen anywhere else.
As was mentioned above, the biggest addition is the twenty-one new chords that have been specially created and arranged for novices, giving them something to learn and understand about no matter what guitar method they choose. The book does not go into great detail as to how these chords are supposed to be used, but it is enough to allow guitarists with even just a little experience to at least know what chords are created for different situations. Some of the chord changes are extremely important to novices, such as the diminished chord, which finds its way into most rock songs today. Guitarists who already know how to play chords will find some of the easier chords to be quite useful and will develop an ability for playing the guitar that will serve them well later on in their playing career.
The Musician's Guide to Fundamentals is written for all levels of experience and is geared for novices who might be considering taking up the guitar as a hobby or profession. While there is plenty to read and learn from this text, it does address some of the basics of guitar playing that might seem a little too elementary to many experienced players. In fact, many of the lessons provided might seem a little basic to a guitarist who has been playing the instrument for a long time but are still trying to figure out how to get better at the guitar. A good guitar lesson on how to get better at the guitar should give even the most advanced guitar player tips that have been proven to work.
