Convivial Toolbox: Generative Research for the Front End of Design by Sandeep Anand is a fast-paced book with a lot of "how's" that drive you to keep moving and not give up. The book is full of "aha moments" and I kept thinking about what I had read so far and how it related to my process of design. I especially liked that when working through this process, I was making progress on my end result (design) while my clients' process (getting their idea) was in the "making" phase. This process made it easier for me to work in a "design to production" environment.

In Convivial Toolbox: Generative Research for the Front End of Design by Sandeep Anand, you'll find eight chapters, each dealing with a distinct part of the design process. These chapters include; Concepts, Aesthetics, Behaviour, Breakthrough Designs, Business Cases and Technical Architectures, Engineering Processes, Real Life Examples and Visibility. There is also a short glossary of terms at the end of each chapter.

All in all, this was a really good book on a very interesting topic. If you want to get into designing process and think about ideas from real life examples, this is definitely one to read. It is sure to give you some good ideas on how to approach your design process.
