If I could get a pre-filtered dump that was already imported/processed (for example only javascript questions etc), that might actually be quite useful.

I just cracked up at the phrase “pre-filtered dump.”

That is all.

ha yeah.

dudes, I’m already there with the offline pre-filtered dump. One of the favorite apps - Dash(https://kapeli.com/dash) has been doing this from the get go. Its an offline doclet manager. It has become my programming sidekick. Integrates with loads of editors.   You can download individual stack dumps (see screen cap) that are searchable via shortcuts or Afred — so stian, ask you shall receive.

That's awesome, I actually have dash, but didn't know this. Makes it even more useful!

Just dug this thread up, trying to remember what that app tony recommended was. Dash downloaded; airplane productivity here I come. Thanks Tony!

no prob matt. He has a companion iOS app that  syncs dynamically with the desktop version. Meaning if you hit shortcuts to search Dash on your desktop, it opens the results on your ipad, so you never have to leave your focus from your editor!
