Hi everyone,

(Educoders, please scroll down to my original email for kapp info)

If anyone is interested in acquiring a kapp board, you can order it from http://kappfriends.smarttech.com, using the Friends and Family discount code:  kappcfong.  This code is good until March 31, 2015.  It sells for $899 (+taxes, +shipping), but with this code, you can get it for $799 (+taxes, +shipping).

And yes, development on the software is ongoing, with plans to include more use cases than the one described in their marking video ;)

Colin - I haven't forgotten about shooting a video of me using it, it's just been a bit busy on my end.  But I can attest that the thing actually does work as described in that marketing video, with almost no lag time between ink-to-board-to-mobile-device.  I've tested it on my Nexus 4 phone and my Nexus 10 tablet.

Hi everyone,

So SMART just launched kapp (see video here - http://smartkapp.com).  It's a dry-erase board that dynamically converts the dry erase ink into digital, which then can be shared as a PDF.  Unlike IWBs, this thing requires zero set-up to use.

Sells for $899, but I can hook us up with a discount if there's any interest.
