You probably saw from a email Jim sent to this list, there is a OER summit coming up, and as part of it we holding a "Hack Day".
The OER summit Hack Day is a parallel stream of work occurring as part of the main summit, but focused on developing, creating and integrating technology. This has an important goal: to present concrete examples of what interoperability can offer research and educational technology in a connected, HTML5-centered world. There is much talk about what educational technology and its data can do, but putting together actual examples like this will jump-start research and collaboration in a way we haven’t seen before.
We are encouraging virtual participation, so that means all you educoders out there can join in.
We are planning to use this mailing list to send out announcements before and during the Hack Day. To learn more about, it you can start at the
hack day home base. If you have questions, please ask on this list so others can benefit.
