Hello to all you guys.

First of all, i'm deeply sorry for not being present the last meeting, i have some issues from my work and i couldn't be with you in that night. Second accordng to venture schedule we are timed out with the first activity, so we need to put all our work o time. Here i put the defintion of the app after a brief moment of EUREKA in the bathroom (that's not inusual in my life fellas jejeje) so i shared in a Google Doc with you, if you cannot see the doc here is the link:

The idea now is make some coments to the doc so we can post the results in the venture-lab site for the activity, in this week i will made some research owrk in the school that i working on involving some surveys and chats with the teachers so we can enrich the post.

Hi Mao,

Very glad to hear nothing bad happened to you, and that you did not just fall away as I had feared. 

You have been very busy indeed. Not just with the idea but also with the work in the Business Model Canvas!  I think this is a good idea, and do agree with your assessment that it would require a great deal of work to implement. 

Unless I have missed something, this project is due in its entirety tonight, along with evaluations, surveys etc and input from potential users.

By the end of the OAP deadline, we would like to see a complete team page with the name of the team, a short description plus a few (at least one) reports corresponding to your surveys and experiments for testing your value proposition.

You should also write up one page report on your startup idea, focusing on what you have done to test whether this is a viable opportunity for a business. We want a summary of how many face to face interviews you did with customers and what you learned from the customer feedback. Do customers have the problem that you think they do? If so, how are they currently solving it and how much do they pay for that solution? Are they interested in your solution? Are they willing to pay you for it? Is there a different problem that they are much more interested in having you solve for them? Let us know if you are still pursuing the same idea or if you are changing to a new idea based on customer feedback.

In addition to the report, we encourage you to also submit either a link to your video presentation on YouTube (tagged with "Venture Lab 2012") or a link to your presentation on Slideshare.

For the youtube video, imagine you are giving a short presentation on what you did for OAP project for the class. Start with a brief description of your idea. Explain what you learned from customers and whether you modified the idea as a result of this feedback. Finally, whether you think this opportunity is worth pursuing for the OEP.

I originally read another area wrong, and was trying to figure out how to do the video, but found the above and stopped.

Here is something to think about, Stanford is looking at the best projects to see about implementing in real world. 

If the due date is today,  we have no chance of putting this in correctly. Have you thought about stepping back for a minute, and presenting this next semester - a better rendition and not a partial or rushed one?

Hello Katrina!

Well in a personal point of view, when i subscribed to this course my goal was entirely learn and share my ideas with people like you who has the passion for improve or complete tweak or blend the entire actual educational machinery by doing smarter use of information technology. The deadline was yesterday but if you agree (and the others indeed) we can continue to work on this. If you guys wanted to, i propose make a real team for the research and development for this project and make something real. I like this, and i loved and work with people from other cultures and languages (my speaking english sucks!) make and opportunity to have different perspectives and points of view. So i will continue posting and working with you if you want to, for me there is Educatron with or without stanford, AND of course, there is a lot of material from the ventures-lab that we can dive into, to make this experience even richer. Hi!

First, excuse me for not participate a lot, I follow you but I'm not sure about how to help.

Is quite difficult for me to know what’s happening or what’s made in our group. I follow this list and know the next meeting, I think will be difficult for me to attend.

About the project I think is very focused in an age range and with a lot of methodology and I’m think in this conditions is difficult to create the “minimum product viable” to check if we’re right or "pivote" if we are wrong.

I can help you in how to use IT to do it, and perhaps about e-learning but I don’t know anything about kids.

Perhaps organize what we have and write the next steps can help us to know what to do and who can do it.
