Wilson College welcomes international students to our beautiful campus in South-Central Pennsylvania. With rigorous academics, small classes and a safe environment, Wilson has long been a popular choice among young women outside the United States. Fourteen percent of our current undergraduates are international students and our increasingly diverse faculty benefits all students.

Wilson College offers a limited number of partial tuition scholarships to academically talented female students from around the world. Wilson awards bachelor's and associate degrees in liberal arts and sciences, business, education, international studies, pre-professional, equestrian studies, and veterinary medical technology. MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY OFFERS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN FINANCIAL AID

Montana State University will offer millions of dollars in scholarships and awards to non-resident freshmen who apply for admission for the fall of 2012. Scholarships range in amount from US$2,000 - $15,000 a year and are renewable for all 4 years of study as long as a 3.0/4.0 GPA is maintained.

International students that do not take the SAT exam or do not achieve the minimum score of a 1560 are eligible for the International Programs Scholarship worth US$3,500 for the first year of study offered to any student with a 3.0 GPA and above at the time of application.

TULANE LAW SCHOOL APPLICATION FEE WAIVER

Tulane Law School will provide an application fee waiver to applicants who apply electronically via the Law School Admission Council to one of our six LLM programs by May 1, 2012. To receive an LLM application fee waiver, e-mail Heather Marinaro at hmar...@tulane.edu providing your full name and address. The LLM application deadline is May 1; however, applicants are encouraged to apply prior to March 31.

In order to be considered for our LLM programs, applicants must hold or be in the process of completing a JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree. Tulane offers the following LLM programs: General LLM, LLM in Admiralty, LLM in American Business Law, LLM in American Law, LLM in Energy & Environment, LLM in International & Comparative Law. The LLM programs are each 24 credit hours and are designed to be completed in one academic year (two semesters). Please follow this link for more information about our LLM programs.

SETON HALL UNIVERSITY LOWERS TUITION FOR ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

As recently seen in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, Seton Hall University announced that it will lower its tuition for high achieving students to the same rate as the state’s flagship public institution, Rutgers University. This steep cut in tuition will result in a savings of over $21,000 a year for qualified students.

The program is open to domestic students from all states and to international students from all countries that are graduating from high school in 2012 and plan to enroll at Seton Hall in fall 2012.
To qualify students must meet the following requirements:

- Be in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class;
- Have an ACT score of 27 or higher or a combined score of 1200 on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT, with a minimum score of 550 on each; and
- Apply by December 15.

International students who do not meet these criteria are still eligible for generous scholarship aid from Seton Hall based on academic performance.

St. Catherine University is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for admission and partial scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year. Our scholarships for female bachelor's-level students in any major range between $4,000 - $18,000 annually. Scholarships are awarded upon admission and are renewable based on satisfactory academic progress.

WESTMINSTER COLLEGE MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Westminster College in Salt Lake City offers four-year music scholarships to qualifying students. The Department of Music at Westminster College offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. The major offers a choice of emphasis: academic or performance. The BA degree in music is an excellent choice for talented students who plan to pursue graduate work in music, and for liberal arts students pursuing two majors in preparation for graduate school.

It is also a degree that would qualify students for any number of music-related jobs following college. All prospective music majors must audition to be considered for admission into the Music Program at Westminster. Auditions for entrance into the Music Department are held year round; however, scholarship auditions for the 2012-2013 academic year end March 17, 2012.

To receive a music scholarship, you must maintain a GPA of 3.0. To apply for the scholarship, students must apply to Westminster BEFORE the music audition dates. 2012 auditions will be on: January 14, February 11, and March 17.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS GET A LITTLE COUNTRY

The American farm is iconic the world over, and a group of international students from Pittsburg State University got a chance to see one up close.

The students, from Saudi Arabia, China, Vietnam, Taiwan and Colombia, are all members of Christine Mekkaoui’s intensive English program. They visited Hickory Creek Farms west of Pittsburg Thursday afternoon to navigate the vast corn maze, go on hay rides, watch livestock races and learn about American farming history.

HESSTON COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Hesston College is a little nugget of paradise located just 30 minutes north of Wichita. As the only two-year college affiliated with Mennonite Church USA, we offer an environment and learning experience that’s hard to match. With nearly 450 students and a faculty-student ratio of 1:14, you’ll find opportunities for life, learning, and leadership that are distinct even among small colleges. With a two-year general studies curriculum, you’ll gain the kind of academic and professional preparation that most schools put off until the junior and senior years.

Hesston College offers International Scholarships. The amount of the scholarship is determined after the Application for Admission and the academic records are received by Hesston College. All international students receive an International Scholarship. On-campus employment is also possible. Many international students at Hesston College have on-campus employment. The amount which these students earn in one year is typically between $1,000 to $3,000.

JACK KENT COOKE FOUNDATION UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship supports outstanding community college students with financial need by providing funding for them to complete their bachelor’s degrees at US four-year colleges and universities.

The Foundation provides approximately 50 highly competitive scholarships, which are intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree. Awards are valued at up to $30,000 per year and vary based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships the student may receive.

IUPUI CHANCELLOR'S RECOGNITION AWARD OF $12,000 ANNUALLY OVER 4 YEARS

IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban university, with 21 schools and academic units which grant degrees in more than 200 programs from both Indiana University and Purdue University. Its location within blocks of downtown Indianapolis facilitates advancement of research and teaching, and presents unique opportunities for internships, partnerships, community engagement, and more. IUPUI enrolls more than 30,000 students representing all 50 states and 122 countries

Chancellor’s Recognition Scholars are automatically admitted to the IUPUI Honors College. The Honors College provides access to specialized advising, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities to conduct research and participate in leadership development. To be considered for renewal, students must attend full time, be an active participant in the Honors College and maintain a 3.3 GPA. No separate application is required. Students who have applied for admission by February 1 who have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75 (on a U.S. 4.0 scale) with a minimum 1250 SAT (for the mathematics and critical reading scores) or 27 ACT composite score may be eligible for this scholarship.

THE WHITEHEAD SCHOOL OF DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS ANNOUNCES NEW SPECIALIZATION

The Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University is offering a new specialization, effective September 2011, as part of its M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations degree. The Post Conflict State Reconstruction and Sustainability specialization courses address rebuilding a viable economy, assessing strengths and shortcomings, the role of law, truth and justice, and conflict prevention, in fragile state environments. The new specialization draws on Whitehead faculty expertise in these areas and is supported by internship opportunities.
