You're receiving this because you have subscribed to our mailing list View this email in your browser Two-part workshop on "Writing an Effective Statement of Purpose" Monday, November 17 Thursday, November 20 We are happy to invite you for a special two-part workshop "Writing an Effective Statement of Purpose" conducted by Emily Magaziner (English Language Fellow, U.S. Department of State), to be held on November 17 at 16:30 and November 20 at 16:30 at the Kyiv EducationUSA Advising Center (American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS, 20 Esplanadna Street, 6th floor, Kyiv).  With this event we are pleased to announce the start of the International Education Week (IEW) 2014! The IEW - November 17-21, 2014 - is a great opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. During the first part (on November 17) we plan to cover the following topics: Writing an effective statement of purpose The importance of the statement of purpose in the application process Essay organization Steps in the writing process Common mistakes and pitfalls to avoid During the second part (on November 20), we will go over students' essays and discuss ways to improve them.  Participation is free of charge. No registration is required. З цієї події ми раді оголосити про початок Тижня міжнародної освіти (International Education Week (IEW) 2014!
