Pittsburg State University - Honors College Scholarship - Apply Now

Attention high school students in your final year:
Now is the time to apply for the Honors College scholarship program at Pittsburg State University! The primary mission of the Honors College is to provide a more meaningful educational experience for select superior students.
In addition to providing educationally enriched experiences (reflected both in and out of the classroom), there are also two levels of financial assistance available:
Presidential Scholarship Award - $9,500 per year for four years (total $38,000)
University Scholarship Award - $4,500 per year for four years (total $18,000)
(Estimated tuition rate is $16,336 per year without the scholarship)

Scholarship Requirements:
    * 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
    * ACT composite score of 28 or higher; OR SAT composite score of 1240 or higher; OR national standardized test
    * Rank in the top 1/3 of high school graduating class
    * Minimum TOEFL score of 68 (Internet based)
STEP 1: Apply for admission to PSU
    * Completed online admission application
    * $50 application fee
    * Official high school transcripts
    * TOEFL or IELTS score
    * Financial/Bank statement
    * Copy of passport
STEP 2: Apply for the Honors College Scholarship
    * Completed scholarship application form
    * An official copy of your current high school transcript
    * Reference forms completed by a school administrator/community member and a teacher in sealed envelopes
    * Essay attached to application packet
    * ACT/SAT/National Standardized Test results
Scholarship Deadline: January 15, 2015
Scholarship will be awarded for Fall (August) 2015
