Plan Ahead and Spend the Summer at UC Irvine Summer Session!
Students can choose from over 800 courses and from within 70 different subject areas. Fields of study include international studies, science, art, economics, as well as the professional fields of business, education, engineering, and public health. Students can also take an Academic English course within Writing, Reading and Conversation to help improve their academic college level of English. Students earn academic credit and receive an official UCI transcript upon completion of their summer courses. Not only will the UCI transcript enhance their academic resume, the credits can be transferred to their home university.
To further increase students understanding of American culture, students live with domestic students on campus.
We also offer activities, workshops, events, and trips every week throughout the entire program on and off campus so your students are engaged both academically, socially and enjoy a fulfilling summer with us.
On the sunny campus of UCI, students don't have far to go to relax after class. The Pacific Ocean is a quick 10-kilometer trip away, attracting surfers, sailors, and sunbathers alike. There is a bounty of local attractions and we encourage students to experience an American baseball game, explore nature trails, and visit museums and summer festivals.
