We are contacting you to inform you that AGAUR has opened the call for Beatriu de Pinós Postdoctoral Grants 2024.

OBJECTIVE

Grants for the recruitment and incorporation, in a competitive manner, of postdoctoral research staff into the science and technology system of Catalonia.

FINANCIAL ENDOWMENT

€161,400.19

*Minimum gross salary €36,480/year

*Complementary grant of €12,000 for 3 years

*End of contract compensation €3,648

DURATION

3 years

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

· Have obtained the doctorate between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2022.

· Have, at the time of joining the receiving entity, a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience outside Spain. This postdoctoral experience, regardless of the type of affiliation, may have been carried out in different institutions, as long as the total period of postdoctoral stay is at least 2 years.

· Not having resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last three years prior to the date of submission of the application.

RESPONSIBLE RESEARCHER REQUIREMENTS

· Have a statutory or employment relationship with the entity benefiting from the grant. This relationship must sufficiently guarantee the supervision of the candidate.

· It is considered that part-time staff, staff on leave, visiting professors and emeritus professors do not meet this requirement.

LIMITATION ON APPLICATIONS

· Candidates who are currently receiving a Beatriu de Pinós grant cannot apply for a new call for these grants.

· A candidate and a responsible researcher can only appear as such in a single application for each call.

DOCUMENTATION

The standard application form consists of a general form (which you can download when you complete the submission process) and an annexed document, which must be attached to the form in accordance with the instructions in the standard model.

Projects will preferably be presented in English for evaluation.
