Subject: Invitation to Black British, African, or Caribbean Mothers Residing in London for In-person Discussions on Gestational Diabetes - Flyer Attached
To: Enfield Black Community Health Forum <enf...@cahn.org.uk>

Dear colleague,

Diabetes in pregnancy brings unique and complex challenges, and it is vital that the follow-up and support offered are practical, achievable, and meaningful to those who need them most.
This is a CAHN collaboration that seeks to have a conversation with 7 African and Caribbean women in London who have experienced diabetes in pregnancy, and to find out what they consider to be important (please find flyer attached).
The intension of this discussion is to find out if subsequent research studies represent your values, preferences, and what you would want from follow-up care after pregnancy.
We want to ensure that all future research in this area is grounded in real-life experiences. A 2-hour discussion will be held in-person in London on the 30th of September. Eligible participants will be offered £30 for participation.

Kindly fill in this form if you are interested in joining this discussion. Eligible participants will be subsequently contacted by the research team: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=jiy8G7VjwEqIbNGjEP6k3A2BlWH8OtxJhhg4gflzhS9UQTdNRVFMRU1SRjQxVUNUU1pTTFRXUEVQVS4u.  Alternatively, scan the QR code below or in the attached flyer to register your interest.

Thank you and hope to hear your thoughts and views soon!

Warm regards,

Dr Albert Lawrence Kwansa
